Learn about some of our approaches

        ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a research-backed approach that helps individuals manage difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on what truly matters to them. Instead of struggling to eliminate distress, ACT teaches skills to accept challenges, develop mindfulness, and take meaningful action aligned with personal values. By building psychological flexibility, ACT empowers individuals to navigate life’s difficulties with resilience, self-compassion, and a greater sense of purpose.

        EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. This approach allows individuals to move forward with greater resilience, breaking free from the past and building a healthier, more balanced future.

        Brain Spotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, neuroscience-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and emotional challenges. By using eye positions, or “brainspots,” connected to deep-seated memories and emotions, this approach helps the brain access and resolve unresolved experiences. Brainspotting allows for deep healing beyond traditional talk therapy, promoting emotional release, resilience, and lasting change.

        Cross Cultural

Our cross-cultural counseling services provide a supportive space for individuals and families navigating the complexities of identity, cultural transitions, and multicultural relationships. We understand the unique challenges faced by immigrants, first-generation individuals, and those balancing multiple cultural influences. With a deep respect for diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, we offer personalized guidance to help clients process cultural stress, build resilience, and find strength in their identities.
