Vidya is the founder of KAFC, where she leads with a deep commitment to compassion, equity, and community, shaped by her own experience as the parent of an autistic child. After beginning her career as an engineer, she transitioned into behavioral and mental health services when she recognized the need for more compassionate, individualized care for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities and the families supporting them. Vidya views KAFC not simply as a business, but as a calling to create meaningful change for families who too often face barriers to accessing high quality care. She reinvests in staff development, client services, and community initiatives while fostering a close knit culture where professionals feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow. Under her leadership, KAFC remains committed to providing exceptional, culturally responsive care while advocating for families and communities whose needs have historically been overlooked.

Andy Song is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, doctoral level clinician, and educator whose work bridges applied behavior analysis, mental health, special education, and disability advocacy. He previously served as the Statewide Behavior Analyst for Washington State’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, where he supported efforts to strengthen behavioral services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state. Andy also became the first BCBA to work within both the Emergency Department and Psychiatric Inpatient Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he contributed to innovative approaches for supporting children with complex behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs. As a professor at Tacoma Community College and former faculty member at Colorado State University, he is committed to preparing future professionals in human services, counseling, and behavioral health. Andy holds a doctorate focused on special education and counseling, with professional interests in learning disabilities, inclusive education, culturally responsive care, and improving systems for individuals whose needs are often underserved by traditional models.

Grace Lee is Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and licensed provider in Washington and Texas states. Grace graduated from University of Washington and Arizona State University with a master's in Education with emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Grace has experience working with clients aged from 16 months to 22 years with deficits in functional communication, social communication, and social-behavioral/emotional skills, and behavior management since 2016. She also works with families and other providers by providing behavior management protocol and adaptive life skill support in home or community settings and consulting with school districts. Grace is dedicated to providing quality care and ensuring meaningful gains for the clients and families. Grace can provide service in English and Korean.

Alice is a psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with a PhD in Nursing from the University of Washington and extensive experience supporting children and families with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Her clinical background includes significant work at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she has provided specialized psychiatric care to pediatric populations across diverse levels of need. In addition to her clinical practice, Alice serves as a professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, contributing her expertise to the education and development of future healthcare professionals. At KAFC, Alice provides comprehensive evaluations with an emphasis on culturally responsive, family centered, and accessible care. She is particularly committed to supporting families who experience cultural, linguistic, financial, or systemic barriers that can make accessing appropriate evaluation and diagnostic services difficult. Through her work, Alice helps families better understand their child’s needs while connecting them with meaningful recommendations and pathways to continued support.

Thanh P. Nguyen, Ph.D., has spent her career addressing the challenges many families face when accessing autism services. As a clinician and researcher, Thanh focuses on improving equitable and culturally responsive care for families who have historically been underserved. Growing up in a Vietnamese immigrant family, she saw firsthand how her parents, who spoke limited English, struggled to navigate healthcare and education systems. Advocating for her younger Autistic sibling became a central part of her early life and shaped her commitment to breaking down barriers for immigrant and refugee families. Thanh provides trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and culturally responsive care, specializing in strength-based diagnostic evaluations for autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences. She offers person-centered psychotherapy using CBT, ACT, DBT, relational, and family systems approaches to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, life transitions, and intergenerational or cultural challenges. Passionate about serving neurodivergent individuals, caregivers, immigrants, and communities of color, Thanh provides services in English and conversational Vietnamese.

Alyssa is KAFC’s longest serving team member and has been an important part of the organization’s growth and commitment to the families we serve. As our Administrative Assistant, she helps families navigate services with warmth, patience, and a genuine understanding of the unique needs of the autistic community. She brings a strong willingness to learn and continues to expand her knowledge and skills as she advances professionally. Alyssa’s dedication extends beyond her administrative role, as she consistently looks for ways to better support clients, families, and her fellow team members. Her passion for the autistic community is reflected in the care and compassion she brings to each interaction. At KAFC, Alyssa helps ensure that families feel welcomed, supported, and connected from the very beginning of their experience with us.
